Its updated thin and elastic formula forms a secure, flexible foundation without adding unnecessary thickness, making it especially suitable for thin, weak, sensitive, or problematic nails.

With a liquid consistency and a pH of 4.5, the base is intended exclusively for application as a thin priming layer rather than for leveling the nail plate. It can be used as a bonding foundation under gel, polygel, color bases, and gel polish systems. The formula is particularly suitable for pedicures and clients with increased nail moisture, including those prone to hyperhidrosis.

Important: Do not use NAILS OF THE DAY Scotch Base together with Ultrabond.

How to Use NAILS OF THE DAY Scotch Base

1. Perform standard preparation of the natural nail plate.
2. Thoroughly degrease the nail and apply NAILS OF THE DAY Dehydrator.
3. Apply a very thin, rubbing layer of NAILS OF THE DAY Scotch Base, distributing the product evenly across the nail plate.
4. Cure for 60 seconds in an LED lamp or 120 seconds in a UV lamp.
5. Continue with the selected gel, polygel, color base, or gel polish system.

Professional Tips for NAILS OF THE DAY Scotch Base

• Apply the product with gentle pressure to enhance bonding, particularly on thin nails.
• Avoid overapplication. A very thin rubbing layer is sufficient for optimal adhesion.
• Do not use together with Ultrabond.
