Cover Base №4 30 ml LUNAmoon

LUNAmoon Cover Base 04 is a camouflage base coat designed for nail coating and leveling procedures. Its highly pigmented formula provides excellent coverage of the natural nail plate while creating a smooth and even surface for further nail design applications.

The base features a medium consistency with thixotropic properties, meaning it becomes more fluid during brush movement while maintaining stability when at rest. It self-levels quickly, does not run, and provides comfortable application for professional nail technicians.

Important Application Notes for LUNAmoon Cover Base 04

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior strengthening;
• The thickness at the free edge should be approximately 0.5 mm during leveling;
• The product may exhibit minimal shrinkage during wear due to its elasticity;
• The consistency can be slightly warmed to make the product more fluid;
• Recommended lamp power: 36–48 W;
• Use only original, high-quality lamps for proper curing;
• Curing time in the lamp: 120 seconds.

How to Use LUNAmoon Cover Base 04

1. Remove the previous coating.
2. Do not file the nail shape completely or leave approximately 2 mm of length to refine after leveling.
3. Gently buff the nail surface using a 220-grit file without excessive pressure, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure preparation.
5. If cuticle removers are used, wash hands thoroughly with soap afterward.
6. Degrease the nail plate using LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform this step twice using four wipes in total (one wipe per five fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: wrap a wipe around an orange stick and carefully clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer may be used if desired. However, it is not required when the underlayer base has sufficient acidity.
8. Apply a thin rubbing layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base or Fix Base using a flat gel brush. Pay special attention to the cuticle area and sidewalls to help prevent lifting. Cure for 60 seconds.
9. It is recommended not to remove the sticky layer from the base coat, as it improves chemical adhesion with subsequent layers such as gel, color, or additional base products.
10. Apply and level LUNAmoon Cover Base 04. Cure for 90 seconds.
11. Refine the nail shape after leveling to create proper thickness at the free edge for additional strength.
12. Remove the sticky layer.
13. Apply a top coat and cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe the surface, as this may reduce the shine.
